KI 1477 How to apply for extended access or the right to host guest users

In UiBtilgang you can apply for access to various systems. In addition, employees can apply for the right to register guests.
The manager (staff approver in SAP) must approve your applications.
Here is how to apply for extended permissions:
  1. Go to UiBtilgang (https://tilgang.uib.no - only available on UiB network or via VPN) and select Catalog:

      
  2. The catalog displays the available systems and roles. Check the one(s) you want to apply for.
    Then click Request at the bottom of this page:

         
  3. To be able to open guest accounts you must apply for Host privileges, either for guests:
    or for long-term guests:

  4. Fill in the duration you need this access for, then click Request again:

      
  5. You manager will have to approve the access you have requested before it is granted.
