Adobe Acrobat products were previously supplied with a "perpetual" license. Unfortunately, Adobe's support for these products is not perpetual. Some versions of Acrobat are now out of support and have publicly known security vulnerabilities. In order to keep UiB, our users and data secure, unsupported versions of the following products will be automatically removed over the next several months:
Acrobat Acrobat Pro 2017
Acrobat Acrobat Pro 2020
Alternative software which can perform some or all of the features of the Adobe software is available at no cost:
If these are not suitable for your use case, you will need to purchase a new license for the currently supported version of the Adobe product. More information is available in KI0955.
