How UiB employees should relate to the strike
The right to strike is a legal instrument for trade unions and is used to achieve better pay and working conditions in connection with collective bargaining agreements. It is important for UiB to respect this right, even when strikes among cleaning staff in other organizations have consequences for our own operations.

Employees should behave as usual and should not perform tasks that are normally carried out by cleaning staff. At the same time, everyone is encouraged to help maintain a proper working environment by exercising general orderliness and hygiene in their own work areas, as before.
