The IT department is planning for the discontinuation of the form service Skjemaker at UiB. This causes number of questions about what Skjemaker users should do. This article attempts to answer the most common questions. It will be updated.
Is there a simple way to transfer forms from Skjemaker to the other systems? Or do they need to be recreated?
Unfortunately, the forms need to be recreated if you wish to move them to another service.
Can you create MS Forms forms with the UiB logo?
Yes, you can add logos, backgrounds, and colours as you wish. This must be done for each individual form, as we do not have a shared UiB style set in Forms.
Can MS Forms be set up so that registrations are forwarded to WebSak?
For forms that need to deliver data into WebSak, we recommend using the Interact+ form service, as it has a built‑in integration with WebSak and is designed for this purpose.
Is it possible to upload attachments without being logged in to UiB in MS Forms and SurveyXact?
In MS Forms, it is not possible for users outside of UiB to upload attachments. If you choose to make the form open to everyone, the file upload option will be removed. In SurveyXact, however, this functionality is available.
Will training be provided in the recommended solutions?
MS Forms and SurveyXact are solutions we have used at UiB for a long time, and at the moment no specific training activities are planned. Please get in touch if you need a walkthrough.
